Iranian Combustion Institute History The Iranian Combustion Institute (ICI) is an educational, non-profit, international, and scientific society. ICI is established in March 2001. Mission The mission of the ICI is to provide leadership in the continuing growth of Iran’s combustion and energy related industries. Goal The goal of the ICI is to promote the science and technology of combustion, its applications, as well as energy related fields. In particular, 1. To organize technical meetings in related areas in Iran. 2. To encourage communication of knowledge in the abovementioned areas in Iran. 3. To stimulate education by organizing professional courses and university short courses in the abovementioned areas in Iran. 4. To draw attention to issues in the related fields in Iran. 5. To assist government agencies, industries, universities, and other interested associations, institutes, societies, groups, or individual members in the abovementioned areas in Iran. Members ICI is open to anyone who is interested in R&D into combustion phenomena as well as energy related fields. Members may include academicians, scientists, engineers, students, research centers, government agencies, environmental agencies, energy companies (oil, gas, power), and manufacturers.
